Settings for productivity where I pass most of my time: at the browser.

First of all: separate your things from the company’s things. Trust me, will help you a lot.

1 — Create a personal profile on the browser and then a corporative one.

Here I have Julia Nascimento witch is my corporative profile and right below my personal profile: Lia Nascimento. You can name it just Personal and Corporative.

2 — Install extensions to synchronize everything and make your work faster.

This is my favorite extensions:

Pocket — to save for later all the links you can’t read right at the moment.

Awesome Screenshot — to capture and download entire pages screenshots ou part of it and also record videos of your screen.

Google Translate — this one is easy, for the ones who read in more than one language.

Grammarly — correct your writing in English instantly and even suggest better words. I just can’t live without it anymore.

Grammarly suggestions

Muzli — to give you some daily inspiration based on your preferences every time you open a new tab. (and is by InVision app).

Google Keep — to save notes, images, links and lists on your google keep without opening it.

Google Calendar — to save events on your agenda from the page you are.

3 — On settings, config your browser to open a set of pages.

Add the links for your main calendar (Google calendar) and your to-do list (Google Keep) to open with the browser.

This way you will start your day checking the events, meetings of the day and priorities so you can plan your day better. Just after that, you open your email and other staff. Never set “Continue where you left off”. This will keep you on a snowball and you will never close all the tabs. The idea is you to finish everything at the end of the day and close all your tab. On the next day aways start from your priorities to-do list and calendar.

A small bonus: these are my favorite extensions as a UX / UI designer:

Window Resizer

Css Peeper

CollorZilla

Fonts Ninja

Design Grid Overlay

Thats it! Hands-on!
